Concert of the finalists of the Alberto Burri third national contest for young chamber music groups
The Alberto Burri national contest for young chamber music groups is meant to provide a real support for those young musicians who are at the first steps and would like to follow a chamber music career.
It is organized by Regione dell’Umbria, Comune di Città di Castello, Città di Castello Lions Club and Fondazione Palazzo Albizzini Collezione Burri and dedicated to under 32 years old musicians born or resident in the EU, with a degree in a conservatory of music high school.
The contest has two legs: the first one is not open to the public and groups are audited by a selected jury chaired by Festival delle Nazioni art director Aldo Sisillo, the second is the public one. Winners are awarded with a 5,000,00 € prize : half of it is given at the end of the contest the other half is the reward for a concert on the next 53rd edition of the Festival delle Nazioni.
