Ein musikalischer Spass sextet in F major KV 522
The European Chinese Chamber Orchestra is the name chosen by a selected group of brilliant Chinese musicians who decided to perform together to strengthen their bond with western classical and Chinese traditional music. Impeccably talented musicians, they left native China to study in the best European and American conservatories and joined the most prestigious orchestras after being awarded with many international prizes.
Their proposal at the Festival is a perfect summary of their artistic project: the sextet will perform a gallop by violin player Yi-Wen Jiang, who borrows sounds from popular Chinese traditional which are eventually delivered through instruments of western music with its atmospheres and expressions.
