Finalists of the Alberto Burri national contest for chamber music young groups
The Alberto Burri national contest for music chamber young groups aims at supporting young musicians who wish to follow a chamber music career at assisting them with difficulties of the professional world. It is co-organised by Regione dell’Umbria, Comune di Città di Castello, Lions Club of Città di Castello and the Palazzo Albizzini Collezione Burri Foundation and is open to young musicians under thirty two years of age on average, born or residing in the EU and with a conservatory diploma (or other musical institutions. The contest has two phases; the first one is not open to the public and contenders are selected by a jury of musicians and critics directed by art director Aldo Sisillo. The second one is public and takes place this year in the marvelous San Francesco Church in Città di Castello. Winners are entitled to a five thousand prize euro: half the sum is given at the end of the ceremony, the other half is the remuneration for a concert in the fiftysecond edition of Festival delle Nazioni.
