The Festival delle Nazioni was conceived in 1968 with the view of promoting the artistic heritage of the Upper Tiber Valley and its culture and music as well as occupy a quality space in the most prestigious Italian and European cultural events arena.

The Festival’s cultural framework has been characterized since its inception by the choice of one guest country each year which is given the opportunity to present to the public the best of its musical production in a particularly suggestive, natural and architectonic scenery.

In this context, the contribution offered by the Festival delle Nazioni to the European integration through art and culture has been universally appreciated.
